      计慕侃,博士,兰州大学泛第三极环境中心教授,主要从事极端环境下的微生物多样性、功能及生存机制研究,结合微生物群落结构、功能潜力及生理实验方法深入探究了南北极和青藏高原荒漠土壤微生物的群落结构及功能,首次提出了微生物可通过氧化空气中的氢气获得能量以固定二氧化碳的兼性空气化能自养机制。研究成果发表在Nature时,同期以“Energy from thin air”为题发表评论文章,认为“扩展了对生命极限范围的认识,突破了对于生物在生命不可能存在地区生存及能量获取机制的传统理解”。近年来参与中国科学院先导专项及第二次青藏高原综合科学考察研究等课题,在Nature,ISME Journal, The Cryosphere,及Environmental Microbiology等微生物生态领域的权威期刊发表SCI论文15篇。
